Stop Tweezing your own eyebrows!
We have all done this, and honestly it gets rather annoying. The cost is the lowest (which is just the price of a pair of tweezers), but it is extremely time-consuming and can be rather painful, especially if you have never done it before. Tweezing takes patience, attention to detail, and some drawing skills. Usually, before you start, you have to first draw the shape you want for your eyebrows with a makeup pencil. From there, you pluck all the unwanted hairs around the draw

When you soak your fingers in water, your nail expands, so if you put polish on after that, before they've started to shrink back to their regular size, the polish will be ready to chip the moment you touch it to something. You should apply cuticle remover, softly push back the skin and wipe the nail clean. Then, if you have any skin sticking up, you can carefully t

Ingrown toe nails are a pain!
Ingrown toe nails are so painful! Yes! I know! I get them as well. I literally have to remove them every 3-4 months on both of my big toes. Mines is caused by the curvature of my actual nail beds. They tend to grow inwards naturally, and I can literally feel the sharp pinch even if I round off the ends of my nail beds. A nail tech can temporarily remove the ingrown toe nail for you, but we highly recommend you get them removed professionally just to be on the safe side. Hope

What you need to know about those UV lamps in nail salons & skin cancer
We all want and appreciate nice hands since they are out in the open all day long. A big part of that is having our nails polished. And getting a manicure with friends is an honored tradition many of us enjoy, especially before a big event like a wedding, birthday celebration, night out. Some of us even bring our young daughters along to show them what a little bit of pampering can do for the soul. With that being said, be aware of your next trip to a nail salon and a nail te

How to care for your Lash Extensions
Say "Good-Bye" to mascara and "Hello" to Eyelash Extensions! A set of well-placed lash extensions have an amazing, realistic, finished result. Although, the upkeep can be pretty precious. Don't Get Them Wet After Application! The adhesive used for eyelash extensions needs a full 24 hours to set, but depending on the type of glue used, it may take up to 48 hours, so you'll want to ask your technician for the specifics. Once you can get them wet, make sure to brush through them
